Growing up near the city Abigail didn’t have a chance to see the beach up close. So seeing the Slateport Beach up close and personal was a new experience for her. A good one, she believes. She shifts her pink sandals from the solid ground and into the sand, before commencing her walk alongside the beach. Aside from some classic sight seeing, maybe she’ll find some more Pokemon companions to add to her team? New people to meet?[break][break]

Elinor took a deep breath. A big smile spread as the fresh sea air filled her lungs. She knew not everyone enjoyed it, but she had taken a liking to it. The fresh air was one of the many reasons why she had come to the beach, the other reason being the view, which she took in fully. The third, and most likely the most important reason of all, is to give her Pokémon a good bout of cardio training.

And that’s why she stood there, clad in a black jogging outfit alongside. Four Pokémon; a Beldum, an Aron, an Onix, and a Treecko. These were the victims of today’s training regimen. “Alright guys, I will set the pace, you follow.” All four Pokémon indicated that they had understood the assignment. “Ready? Set? GO!” And with that Elinor began to run an entourage of Pokémon following behind her.

She was almost certain this was going to catch the attention of someone, but she didn’t care. She was going to have a run, and if some Paparazzi wanted a picture of that, then so be it.

Walking alongside the beach she notices a wild Maril bobbing its tail in the water. While it’s an adorable sight Abigail can’t notice the loneliness in it’s eyes. A look she knows all too well. Was it alone? Must be..[break][break]
Approaching and making her presence known she faintly wears a smile, before throwing a Pokeball at the water type.[break][break]
What comes after though is a complete blur as a hurricane blows over the beach. That storm being a trainer and her rowdy Pokemon. Sand violently flies as she quickly protects her face. Abigail nearly falls over from the force of it all, before becoming agitated and standing right back up, locking eyes with the trainer.[break][break]
She grimaces, stomping her feet in the sand, catching up to the girlwith a scary look in her eyes. Uh oh. [break][break]
“Hey! What the hell was that? This is a public beach! Be a little more mindful.”[break][break]

Maybe running with an entourage of Pokémon on a public beach wasn’t the most considerate thing to do. But Elinor had thought it unpopulated enough that she wouldn’t cause much of a ruckus amongst the people already there.

Unfortunately, just as she was passing some woman busy with a Marill, a Wimpod decided that it no longer wished to be buried beneath the sand, just as Elinor stepped on it. It suddenly trashed about, she lost her balance and fell onto the sand. Her Pokémon, slow to react all tried to avoid her, some doing so others not so much, but it ended in a dust cloud for a brief second.

“Hey watch out.” Elinor groaned as she got up, she got a glimpse of the Wimpod that was trying to make a big deal of itself just before it watched her stand up. It was then that it tried to run away. “Oh no, you don’t!” She was going to give that Wimpod a stern talking to for that. She quickly retrieved a Pokéball from her belt and threw it at the insect, somehow hitting it and sucking it in. But whether it stayed in was another matter entirely.

But she was not allowed the time to deal with the small Pokémon nor see if any of her own had gotten hurt by the fall. Though she figured neither of the four Pokémon would have, which would all but be confirmed as they got up and gathered around her. “Oh, I am sorry. I tripped, and they all just tried to avoid diving straight onto me.” She motioned for the three small Pokémon and then the giant Onix behind her.
